A classic car tour for the senses: food, art, drink, views … and maybe a little sea air.
The Mornington Peninsula is home to boutique agriculture and hobby farms, beach-side holiday nooks and get-away locations, family recreation and culinary experience. It is the ultimate tree or sea change location from Melbourne, all to be enjoyed inside a day-trip from the city cruising in a classic mid-fifties Chevrolet coupe.
Your party of four can be collected from city hotels or a Carlton café for a private tour driven by your d’Luxe host, John Frostell – local Chevrolet enthusiast and drive-to location expert.
A typical ‘Mornington Peninsula’ tour can include:
> CBD/Carlton (departure coffee)
> EastLink (roadside sculptures)
> McClelland Gallery (sculpture park, gallery and café)
> Montalto Vineyard
> Red Hill Brewery (including BBQ)
> Red Hill or Pt. Leo Beach
> Merricks General Store
For this tour a 6 hour (full day) or 8+ hour (maxi day) booking is recommended. As always, stops can be added and changed to suit passenger interests and available time.
These tours are the perfect choice for international and interstate visitors wanting a unique look at Melbourne and environs, otherwise for locals looking at special gift ideas or simply just a bit of fun!
d’Luxe Classic Car Tours offers a range of personalised day tours (established and custom) heading in every direction – north, south, east and west – out of Melbourne across half, full or maxi day durations.

What they are saying about d’Luxe:
Coming all the way from Sweden we wanted a relaxed day around Melbourne, enjoying nature, beaches, good food (plus wine and excellent coffee!) and perhaps some art as well. John took us on a beautiful trip around Mornington peninsula going to places like Torello farm, Monalto Vineyard (great wine tasting, outdoor art exhibition), Gunamatta beach etc. We (or rather the car) got many admiring looks from other people along the way, and riding in that beautiful car (love the sound of the motor), made this a fantastic and very relaxed day. A highlight of our entire vacation!
